Venice is another romantic place, though unlike Paris one feels the presence of tourists everywhere. It is quite fun to spend a couple of days walking the narrow lanes and admiring its old (crumpling in some cases) buildings. It is also a place full of photographic opportunities especially if one happens to be there during the annual Carnival of Venice in the early part of the year (normally around February). Another great photography opportunity is the islands of Burano and Murano, with their colourful houses. These can be reached easily by ferry from Venice.

About

Nothing happens when you sit at home. I always make it a point to carry a camera with me at all times…I just shoot at what interests me at that moment. – Elliott Erwitt"
“I treat the photograph as a work of great complexity in which you can find drama. Add to that a careful composition of landscapes, live photography, the right music and interviews with people, and it becomes a style.” – Ken Burns
